That conclusion without lifting a finger. They gave the act , wrote a very specific letter saying there will be no problems with producing silkworms in Vietnam, and were committed to walking the business through government channels. Too often reality is 180 degrees opposite your thinking. Given the hype on businesses having too much power in Washington, you would think any Senator would be all over helping a business for the sake of profit, increased tax base, or jobs. Easy conclusion.
Ben's interests are bought and paid for. He is doing as well as anyone could. Criticism of him is empty and simply amounts to cheap slander. Ben and politicians tell you what they can. Criticism of Kim's silence is warranted, but Ben telling people what they want to hear? Yeah we all want to hear "wait for it," "Kim hasn't told me yet".....etc. If he went beyond reality, how fast do you think investors would abandon such a company? The information he gives is good accurate information, or he can't tell what he doesn't know. If getting good information is what you mean by telling people what they want to hear, then no argument here.
You can't back your gossip up because you never call the company and hear a single word directly from Ben. Imagine how influential a quote from Ben telling a lie, or a specific example of telling people what they want to hear....would be.
