Gosh, you managed to find someone who is almost distilled opinions opinions opinions. How about some facts? Where is an actual fact quoted in that article other than that "MS has moved the formerly separate Lumia team into the Surface team, and that they are now, together, working on one or more next-generation handsets"?

As I said, and it is a fact, if I ever buy a smart phone it will be the surface phone.

Well, he did quote one other fact:

People still think Surface Phone is a thing? I guess if Intel can't win smartphone designs in the real world (outside of devices from the likes of ASUS and other Intel allies in the PC market, probably with a good dose of "market development funds"), it can at least win them in fantasy land.

Interestingly, I think sentiment towards Apple products will improve immensely on these boards if Apple eventually adopts Intel wireless chips in its iPhone portfolio. Just a hunch.
