To calculate today's change in UWTI indicative value

([9 * percentage change March futures] + [6 * percentage change April futures])/5

UWTI closed at 1.42
UWTI-IV closed at 1.34

UWTI closed at a 5.97% premium to its indicative value


data at 0825:
March futures + 1.7%
April futures + 1.8%

UWTI unchanged

hence 3 X 1.8% = 5.4% which is essentially the premium at which UWTI closed.

***AND UWTI is real time; futures quotes are delayed 10 minutes
