Ca boy, interesting. As my son has gone into accounting and is now working (and near to completing his MBA as well), I have stressed on him that DO NOT STRAY FROM PROPER ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES if pressured by your manager/boss/owner. When the chit hits the fan, it would be your reputation on the line and you'd be holding the bag...I'd rather he get out and leave a company than 'cook the books' in order to retain a job, not that anyone has ever approached him to do that, but just giving advice before hand if anyone would ever pressure him, lol.
