No, with the dead-end disaster known as the G5.

You know ..... the chipset that after 4 years never, ever could be installed in 75% of Apple's computers (i.e. laptops + Mini). That required a freakin' car radiator to stuff into an grossly oversized cheese grater (and then only a full year and a half after schedule). That never ramped cycle speed. That was so bloody expensive on Apple's scale that it forced Apple's prices up to the point they were selling 1/4 as many Powermacs with G5s as they'd been selling 5 years earlier with G4s. And that was such a design disaster it fried half the first generation of the only computer in the lineup they ever really got it in (the iMac), costing Apple boatloads of millions in replacement costs, etc. Not to mention forced a mess of transitional issues for developers and applications, etc., etc. ad nauseum
