I can’t agree that Vringo has “excess cash” and is “hoarding” it. It makes no sense to me to put oneself in the position where Vringo is unable to take people to court if they refuse to pay monies rightfully owed to Vringo.
It has been stated many times that the reason Vringo was forced to settle for a pittance from ZTE is that both Vringo and ZTE knew that Vringo could not afford to take advantage of its strong legal positions. I, for one, would not want to jump right back into that black hole again for a few pennies.
I think we all do hope, though, that any addition to the BOD will have a positive effect on the operations of the company.
