I believe Baiyin did not acquire shares of BAA for share price appreciation to make a profit to sell them later. Baiyin is much more interested in physical gold and its relationship to Banro and with the DRC with access to DRC gold.

Gold access and interest financing, and maybe eventual bond accumulation (collaterally back with Banro itself, and also interest income) seems likely there assets of importance.
