May have been contesting "dismissal"

The Case Status still says "Stay conditional settlement", but on 1/8/16, the court issued a Notice of Dismissal

Perhaps the dismissal was an error, or maybe the notice also covers stays, but the Ex Parte Application could have been MJNA reminding the judge that the parties are working on a settlement, the case shouldn't have been dismissed, and that they needed 5 - 6 months to complete the settlement.

So the judge put it back on the calendar.

OTOH, if we see some kind of filing for Project CBD and Cantu in the next couple of weeks contesting this, then that could mean that the settlement fell through.
