Heard something on the news this morning,

Don't remember the company though. Remember it was a fast-food place, so that's probably it.

I wonder if it would have been reported because the news I heard only spoke of one instance (in terms of event, not number of people involved).

I tend to think it isn't all that uncommon to have isolated instances of illness that don't get reported.

I don't think the news I heard said it was E.coli. It was before 6-AM and I was only half awake at the time. There are a lot of other food-born things that can cause illness.
