Spec29: Four months ago I spoke to CVX in US about JDZ, was no comment and referred to the Lagos office, i.e. corroborates what you report, concerted really tight hole!
I also have a friend at CVX. He says that this is the least he has heard about a new field in his time at CVX. All that has been discussed within the company is what you and I have read online or in the paper. His remark was that if we are going to hear anything it will be from their partners (not XOM). Thats why I have always suspected OILY has a connection with Dangote. Anyhow, just confirming that this is real "tight" hole even for CVX.
