45,000 homes near Cleveland ( including mine) lost power last night for a few hours. All my eco-i-lites turned on and functioned properly as they have for years. We carried around eco-i-lites from room to room and set some up on tables.
The special aspect of eco-i-lites that I still appreciate is when power fails they illuminate. You see them and don't have to search for flashlights that may or may not work.
As I sat in the darkened home near the fire I thought how exceptional it would be to have lightbulbs in the lamps that would continue to be lit during the power failure.
It occurred to me how ones comfort and security level would significantly increase if the screw in bulbs in the household lamps continued to shine and illuminate when power stops.

They are a great product that works and consumers can't find them for sale. It continues to be so frustrating to me after all these years. If these products were on the shelves they would be selling.
