Retail stores, engineers, app developers, etc. That's just the "obvious" avenues of job creation.

Let's not forget that Apple helped kickstart the entire modern smartphone industry, helping to create a ton of jobs both here and abroad.

I dunno, maybe I'm just reading the sentiment wrong, but I get the distinct vibe that a lot of people on this board want to see Apple fail because they're still bummed out over the negative impact that the growth of mobility has had on Intel's business & long-term prospects.
