At this point I only want direction to trade TOMORROW. At the 5 minute chart I'd like to see a break of Wednesday's intraday consolidation so I know what to do by 10:00 to 10:15. I will be definitely be positioned in hedges for AAPL GOOG AKAM NTRI BIDU and other major "range boomers" about 1 week before the report (reporting 7/17-7/28)
Of specific interest is how the earnings reports are blasting into the already weak market internals (sort of like The Perfect Storm in that movie a few years back. Two pressure systems collide (i.e. what happened to CREE, TKLC after hours maybe we can call it "The Perfect Short")and the results are more devastating. Any upside after earnings is miraculous (i.e. GENZ, INFY, CHAP)but will this continue?
