I was active on this board during mid to end of 2014. I found it amusing to read the fantasy and hope that was common then, and still common today. And it is still just as amusing.

Back then the stock was trading in the $7 dollar range, and a high value buyout was imminent. Hope sprung eternal for one big deal after another: Corel, Dell, Google, Atos Ericsson, and of course Microsoft.

The company was selling millions of dollars worth of Glassware. Q1 2014 saw a million dollars in revenue, and that more than doubled each quarter. And of course, the synergy of the merger with Overland that gave Sphere and Glassware access to its global sales force, 20,000 partners and approximate 500,000 installed clients.

Back in the beginning of 2014, it was announced at an investor conference that "we are tired of development, and now is the time to sell". So, what the heck happened? A disruptive technology that was market ready, the ability to deliver any app to any device, a huge sales force and partner channel extremely keen to sell the new products, strategic partnerships with the biggest names in the industry. Heck, the solution was even embedded in Win 10 and Azure, and could do things Microsoft could not do.

I think we can all agree that is a reasonable and accurate summary of the company. How is it possible that revenue has declined, Glassware sales have not taken off, there are no industry analyst reviews (what DID happen to those sandbox demos?), the company had to debook a huge portion of its 2014 revenue, and the share price is hovering at a loonie.

It is now 2016, almost two full years since those heady days of hype and hope. What happened to $16/60/600 and the massive billion dollar buyouts that the promoters said was just around the corner?

PS Has anyone got any news on when we will see Glassware on a chip in the market?

PS 2 Sorry for the use of the word "KEEN" I understand that is a no-no in the Sphere world.
