I remember it well, I was 33 and grew up fighting that way in TO and NY, wish it had started much sooner, I would have most likely been involved myself, by the time it started I was beat up from the late 70's early 80's life style in Miami, you know, the out all night partying your ass off lifestyle. Lol

Thanks for the memories, Royse Gracie was my all time favorite because he was my natural body weight at the time and could beat men much bigger and heavier than himself, which reminded me of my days when I trained with Dan when I lived in California in 82.

Da UFC has came a long way. I remember when dey were debuting on Spike and people would boo when da fight went to da ground.

Dey didnt know what was going on...dey didnt know about submissions, gnp, guard, none of dat.

Uneducated about da sport...but now dey luv it on da feet or on da ground.
