I don't know about Apex version or whatever..
I know iZone cost $5g to open an account..
all trades are $5 in, $5 out per trade..
it may be $7 or $10 pre-market or AH??

no bells and whistles..no problem..

I can use the actual site to trade on but it's slow..
I trade with it via MedVed QuoteTracker..
ALOT faster..than the iZone page..

but then again, I'm on dial-up anyways..

Ameritrade APEX is same as a standard Ameritrade account, but gets lots of stuff free like Level II, streaming news, etc. Lets of fees do not apply to you either.

IZONE account is the same user interface as the regular Ameritrade account, minus some stuff like order routing. All communication is electronic (no phone support), and you have to pay for Streaming data, News, L II, etc. Standard commissions are $5 vs the $9.99 on the regular Ameritrade account
