I'm not surprised that you took that as the point.
But "Leo" should have plenty of time to make sure that the Financial Information page is accurate and complete on behalf of the shareholders and investing public now that he's not Chairman of the Board any longer....after holding that position from November of 2010 until some unstated date after May 11, 2015 when he last signed a filing as Chairman of the Board.... or he could just rely on a clerk to handle it.
I suppose it's an insignificant change, isn't it...LE and KM have readily interchangeable skills and one Chairman of the Board is as good as another, age and communication issues notwithstanding, right?
It happened right under everyone's nose yet didn't garner a single mention here. But I'm not surprised, nobody cares much about such things as you've made clear...they announced it in a whisper in the proxy statement:
"The Company has chosen to separate the roles of the Chairman of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer, though our current Chairman, Dr. Krishna Menon, is a member of the Company's executive management. We have chosen to implement such a governance structure to allow our Chief Executive Officer the ability to focus the majority of his time and efforts on the day to day operations of the Company." (Can we take that to mean that KM has less than a full scientific schedule in the lab?)
I guess that's what they thought would happen, huh? Is LE now focusing the majority of his time and efforts on the day to day operations of the Company? Stuff like making sure the Financial Information is current and accurate? Referring to KM as the "current Chairman" without ever having mentioned in either a press release or previous filing that he had become same was pretty cute. I'm surprised they didn't throw in an "Oh, by the way".
They did add:
"We encourage our stockholders to learn more about our Company's governance practices at our website, www.cellceutix.com."
Of course a stockholder trying to do that would have had to wait two whole months to be able to do that.
We should probably attribute the fact that the Chairman of the Board isn't identified on the "Our Team" page of the website to that clerical help BS, too. Damn clerks. At least they're consistent....the last Chairman identified on the website was George Evans. Very powerful folks, those clerks, especially if left to their own devices.
I know. Nothing matters but the science. Thank goodness the scientists here have a good grip on what's going on with that.
