The article is more of an analysis of Banro's past which is not relevant to our interest in it as an investment today and looking forward.

The part of it that is relevant may be quickly outdated as well since Namoya commercial announcement can drop any day now - the author seems completely ignorant to this. Either way, there is a serious bias which is transparent rendering it a waste of time to read.

I am personally expecting Namoya's commercial production announcement to come with the production numbers early next week.

It looks like the writer had the article almost ready to go before the latest financing news and then edited the last part quickly in .

Littered with errors. "Both mines, located at the mountain tops"

Namoya is on the flatlands adjacent hills leading to the mountains.

"On February 27, 2015 Banro announced a gold streaming transaction related to Namoya. In exchange for a deposit of $60 million, the company is obliged to deliver to Gramercy Funds Management (a private investment manager located in London, UK) 10% of the life-of-mine gold production from the Namoya mine"

The deal resulted in 50 million stream for 8.33 % LOM.
