The dtc chill is from brokers who do not trade certain penny stock. I use ETrade and have never came across this issue.

I am not sure if it was lifted. Etrade works fine (as u know, saw ur other posts). Sometimes the chill is removed by dtc automatically but other times it takes lots of paperwork.
