Pete, what doesn't make sense to me...
Even if we accept all the excuses management provides us (I can't) in remaining silent, why does everything with this stock have to rest on Microsoft?
We heard repeatedly here that ANY is a free agent to work with other large companies such as Amazon or Dell. Yet, not a peep from management. Absolutely nothing. If the product is as advertised, management should be screaming from the rooftops and Microsoft's competitors, in order to keep a leg up, would work to adopt the technology themselves. This is all assuming that GW was as advertised that many were initially led to believe.
Yet, not a peep from management. Not a peep. All we hear are quotes from the past that are absolutely non specific and could refer mainly to the old Overland portfolio that Microsoft makes money from Sphere. The silence isn't helping the SP and management has to know.
But hey, maybe we'll hear someone from that increasing shareholder value summit. Maybe they will figure out that selling GW (as advertised..) is all that was needed after all.
