No one can deny the idea that programming is becoming direct-to-internet over TV. I do apologize mentioning the Alien Interview Channel multiple times - I have just seen assets trumped up as being valuable in many OTC's when they are clearly not.
I am hoping that his experience and connections prove valuable. He clearly understands where things are going, and even mentioned VR in his interview...the question is all whether they produce content that is widely sought after. He mentioned applying VR technology to musicals - I'm not positive that that is the most lucrative application, but who knows.
Hopefully projects like Mountains of Madness produce some new revenue. Fantasy sports as an investment, I'm not mad at.
I will say, as I have said again, that saying that you are in x industry with x potential doesn't mean anything by itself. They balanced their sheets, and mega flippers dumped, sure. I am hoping that they produce worthwhile CONTENT to obtain a substantial MARKET SHARE - because those words mean something. I am concerned that mega flippers are nowhere near done, and will be back on the next news.
I definitely agree with you that the PPS should be up. The mega-flipping/dumping has made this PPS plummet. I am concerned that it will happen again, on new news. No one can really assuage those concerns, but we will see on the next news release. To see the financials so fundamentally changed, with the PPS not - should be a concern for ANYBODY holding this stock.
IR is a concern but I can't be focused on a firm that is literally created to produce news, pressing for more news. Clearly lying is something nobody wants here - but it is what it is. And as aforementioned, I will take substantial news over fluff.
In response to the idea that this is like investing in TV networks in the 50s - I think that's a huge exaggeration when the business model (though the financials have been cleaned up) haven't been proven.
People really need to realize the amount of worthwhile content that is necessary to drive a company like this into the millions. Income is great. No convertible debt or toxic funding is great.
NONE of it means that one of their projects will suddenly propel this into penny-land. Penny-land is far, far away. And even farther when you take into consideration profit-takers who will undoubtedly pounce on this.
GLTA here. I am holding and hoping that the next news release isn't a SPIKE, but a HELD GAIN AT NEW LEVELS.
