#41035 RE: Capt Billy #41034

Lets take this in order

"I have more proof that this is the San Miguel than anybody i know can prove its not."

I have seen all the artifacts and while interesting- nothing proves a definitive shipwreck, much less a name of a ship.

"As soon as someone can show me they excavated the same wreck previously i will back down on my claim."

Frank Pappa, Tracy Bowden, Rick & Wand Berry and a host of others have all explored that site long before you ever came to the country.

"This government never knew it existed till i found it and to this day thy call it the SAN MIGUEL.
Nobody will ever be able to refute my claim. Count on that.
"

Cultura was aware of the site it was called the Playa Preciosa site and was recorded by Frank Pappa in 1997. The only person in the government who still talks to you is Francis.

"And what we recovered shows this wreck was a year or two before the Padre Island shipwrecks. Being how this wreck was identical to those and a few years earlier sure puts our wreck perfect in the range of the San Miguel."

The San Miguel was four months older than the Padre Island wrecks NOT TWO YEARS. Your lack of basic shipwreck knowledge is quite remarkable for an author and self proclaimed treasure hunter.

"And guess what nobody will be able to prove its not the San Miguel until the real one is found. So far that hasn't happened. And won't."

Maybe not, but the Preciosa debris site (that you paid a local fisherman to show you) is not the San Miguel. If you ever read any of the research you would know this.

"So for now Capt Billy Rawson discovered the possible remains of the SAN Miguel. With one book published (coming soon) and another book nearly done."

what an author puts in print speaks of his credibility, if you make a bunch of claims that can be refuted, you will cast dispersions on any further credibility if you choose to stay in this business.
