Life stinks.

ANV is not first, and it is definitely not the last company which wronged their investors.

Like I previously said, bad things happen to good people. You don't have to go far to recall investors who gave money to Bernie Madoff, and bankrupted companies such as Enron and MCI.

The system is flawed, and there is a saying: Never invest money that you are not willing to lose! There is a reason why someone who is retired shouldn't invest any significant part of their savings in equities.

In the last 15 years, I invested money in 4 companies which went bankrupt, and I lost everything. There were lawsuits, however only lawyers made millions of dollars, and investors got nothing. In ALL those cases, companies canceled their previous shareholders, and few months later started trading again with clean balance sheet. How is it fair? Since we can't do much about it, we should accept the reality and learn lessons. If you are unwilling to do so, than you should join Bernie Sanders and start a revolution. Lets see how far you will make it.
