#43766 RE: TedJ #43761

If you look at last year CES for Samsung, they released a prototype at CES, they finished refining and scaling up for production in Q1, and released a production model in Q2. If ND and QMC manage to follow suit, the projection provided by QMC will fall in line with last years performance by Samsung.

ND/QMC could hypothetically show an OEM prototype at CES. Finish modifying it for production in Q1 and Q2 of 2016. Release a production model in Q2 or Q3 and start seeing revenues after their first production quantities are shipped in Q2 or Q3. By the time the product is delivered and the invoice is paid by ND, the revenue would likely show up in Q3.

What I find interesting is the statement for Q3:

Calendar Q3-2016 (July 1 – September 30)
• Begin generating revenues from quantum dot material sales
Establish offshore manufacturing capacity

Establishing offshore manufacturing capacity will require another reactor order. Lead time for that is about 6 months as QMC has already stated in the past. This means a new reactor will need to be ordered no later than end of Q1 to meet that milestone. It also means they need another $600k for the purchase by the time of delivery in Q3.

Their milestone in Q4 for increasing production to 4+ metric tons is a little confusing. This would be done in Q3 with offshore unless commissioning would not be completed until Q4, which is a likely scenario. I think it's been 2-3 months for setup and commissioning of the new reactors.

Last comment from Q4 goals:

Up list the Company to NASDAQ

They must have some confidence that revenue will get the SP in the range of allowing this to be accomplished. I guess we'll see. I hope and have more confidence that they just might meet most of these milestones this year. The next several months will be critical with regard to achieving the future milestones.
