To connect everything is to surveil everything, which is an attempt to control everything . Software companies , chipmakers. Specific products made ready for operation by their manufactures, cyber security , anything which is needed to connect everything. Honeywell , Tesla, Intel, Micron, FB, Twtr, gpro,IBM, amd , appl Google, tasr, etc , etc. Example, in the future everyone will have button sized 360 degree body cams for security, your auto, possibly your pet as well your refrigerator will recognize you and react to your needs. Everything will be controlled by a device at your fingertips. You will draw a bath from your cell phone , water your lawn, feed your dog . For you to be able to have everything connected means the Internet of everything, nothing will go undocumented, nothing will be private, everything, all information will be accessible. The Internet of everything is the total loss of your privacy in its most perfect and purest form. Manufacturers of everyday products, will seek to sinc with everything else. Cyber security will be a problem for all. Electric meters are now wifi digital capable and can generate a report of your usage, the times and amount of power and the types of devices in your home, then the info is sent to the power company. Your frig will tell the tale to all of what you eat and drink just as all you watch on cable is known. The microphone and camera on you flat screen connected through home group to all of your other devices. There will be no where which is sacred. ID systems will link to everything, your location known at all times. Chips will be abound. Cars will speak to each other and to your insurance company and to authorities. I think you get the picture.
