Bocxman "Re your comment about a "remote possibility" that Moro could come up with a working colorimetric test, that is just inane. Go speak to some people who know what they are talking about (not me), and they will tell you that it is not a big deal to convert an RIA to a colorimetric assay. Moro has already done it as evidenced in the breast cancer data (or was it prostate?), he is just refining the test. "

According to the filings, they have been working on a marketable test for many years. A colorimetric test would be marketable but the RIA is not. From what I have understood, the breast cancer studies were NOT done via colorimetry although the release would lead you to believe that. (Please show me if you know otherwise) Their research in that area had enabled them to enhance the old RIA test and make it more sensitive and that is what was used in the study. Once again, I think the possibility to be low that Moro and his limited resources can come up with a marketable colorimetric test but we can always hope for the best in that area.

To get any kind of PIPE financing, Moro has to show that he has definite proof that a marketable product is in the future of BOCX. He has gotten about all the mileage he can from selling a concept. It's show time or no money.

Any PIPE via JP Turner would stink so bad you couldn't stand being anywhere near it. BTW, I am familiar with some of the groups JP Turner deals with. IMO, Moro is intelligent enough and is not pressed enough to engage some of those offers. He gets along just fine selling stock from time to time and paying off debts with stock. It would be nice to get your hands on the money to develop that colorimetric test but not worth the damage to the company it would entail. Believe me, you don't want to see that either. If Abbott cannot or doesn't think RECAF has the potential to develop on their analyzer, then the company has no future anyway. Even if Moro had a colorimetric test almost perfected, the blow of an Abbott refusal would kill the company.
