Laurie I have two jetskis and two gpro cameras. The mounts can be stuck on any smooth surface that is above water (most of the time) Incredible video that I have taken stills that I have enlarged, framed and are on walls in my kids rooms, hallways etc. The memories captured on those 2 gpro camera are worth 10 times what I paid for the camera. When I read about cell phones cameras and competition that can do the same thing, I say Im from MO Show Me. Are you going to strap your I phone on a 310 HP supercharged intercooled jetski go 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds, 70mph, jump wakes behind cabin cruiser boats soaring 10 ft off the water, slam into waves taking the camera mounted on the jetski totally underwater? I don't use the GPRO to take selfies in the back yard like the rest of the wimpy cameras you talk about were designed for. GPRO kicks all the competition azz over and over.
I've heard all the analysts that sit behind a desk and the most exciting dangerous thing theyve ever done is ride a bike without a helmet. Go Pro is the camera of choice for terrorist everywhere, that should tell you something about how tough they are.
Show me some head to head comparison of Go PRO vs the competition in extreme test that jar, bounce, submerge the cameras over and over.
