The buyback is a very strong indicator that GM has plenty of self funded cash to fuel it's growing top line. More top line revenue, more bottom line profit ahead. Less public funding required. All positive signs for investors. The share price should increase, in my opinion.
The increasing sales from China will be a long term trend as a larger and growing Middle class buy cars. I am in at $31 a share and holding for a long period.
