ROFL! You're a good man.

The daughter's car needed a new fuel pump. We pulled it home this morning. Luckily, my neighbor's a mechanic, who happens to have an uncle that works for the local Chevy dealership's part dep't. We went in to Advance Auto Parts and they wanted $440 for a new pump. He got one from his uncle for $199. He's taking the gas tank off and installing it now. Still more than I was hoping to pay, but much better than calling the tow truck and having it done elsewhere.
