A: Thanks for writing, Steve. In answer to your question, we´re starting over on "Ask SunnComm" for few reasons:

SunnComm just survived a 7 month redesign of its copy protection products. This redesign was in response to a negotiated industry standard that were a direct result of the input we received from record companies, consumer groups, and experts since last November. Until these new standards were agreed to, the company discontinued selling its MediaMax 5 products. DURING THIS PERIOD, NONE OF OUR RECORD COMPANY CUSTOMERS WERE FORCED TO RECALL ANY SUNNCOMM PRODUCTS.

Staff made huge cuts to its operating budget including cutting more than 50% to its executive payroll in an effort to "survive the hit."

We´ve re-doubled out efforts and come up with what we believe will be the next generation of copy protection for both CD and DVD formats.

Following this extensive internal and external testing, SunnComm is looking forward to introducing the newest, friendliest, and most capable copy protection to the world.

Following an anticipated group of forthcoming press announcements, "Ask SunnComm" will re-open to take your questions and hopefully supply you with meaningful answers.

It has been a long, (and sometimes bumpy) ride, but we´re still here plugging away in an effort to design a product that satisfies both industry and consumer alike.
