fuagf -- there were I think 9 lost in the event, 5 drownings of folks in vehicles caught in flooding in my local area, and 4 dead in weather-triggered traffic accidents in Kansas -- at least not any big power outages from the ice (well off to our west through north); it was quite widespread, but generally not that bad/that much

so you're already getting to 100F -- with about two months left to go before you hit your typical peak heating, right? -- yeesh
