My info is that the 270M$ LOI from China EXIM Bank is still intact, and that some progress, albeit slow progress, is underway on the remaining piece of financing.

It is still my conclusion that Fulton will eventually get built, since the Chinese have a great interest in using their trash and waste products to produce useful chemicals and energy. However, I think they are well aware of their own need to see how effectively a new plant using the Arkenol technology will really work, before investing in numerous plants throughout China.

Furthermore, I am a Chem. Engineer from the petrochemical industry and, after studying Bluefire's process and reports on their Japanese pilot plant, I believe their concentrated acid hydrolysis technology is among the best, if not THE best, cellulosic process for efficient production of ethanol and/or other chemicals from cellulosic raw materials.
