Would like to provide further analysis on DRYS but GE isn't cooperating. Still no word on when financials will be provided to shareholders. Some are saying ORIG will release theirs next week and it seems very likely DRYS will too.
It is looking very ugly for dry bulk shipping for the nex 18 months. It will be even worse for DRYS if GE continues to operate in the spot market. There needs to be some sort of a catalyst for the company to even survive through next year. Considering the silence over the last few months, I am wondering what is in store for DRYS. One thing for certain, with GE at the helm it will be something radical and not necessarily to shareholder's benefit.
