Pop...the thinking is...CurrentC uses the QR Code currently to process payments. Neom is the original patent holder surrounding the use of the QR Code. The people that are excited about CurrentC are hoping that Neom finds a way to capitalize on the use of the QR Code as it is being used in mobile payment processing. That's it. No one is saying that Neom has a mobile payment solutions platform. No one...nada...

Ok but you need to acknowledge that neomedia bought and merged a company that provided mobile payments years ago 2006? That is like ten years ago poptech. Neomedia, gavitec. Neomedia europe. Sold equipment and processed mobile payments. Fact. Currentc is not neomedia. The idea is not new to currentc. Neomedia is not currentc. Gavitec had applied for a patent in 2006 mobile payments but had it refused in 2012. The 048 patent is expired. Just

Well it will be interesting to see if the "software solution" company backed by the worlds largest companies succeeds and neomedia quietly flounders away all within a couple of months of each other. Also it would be good to know if currentc uses this patent from unisys corp.. For some reason the applicant used gavitec as an example in its filing. Also quite strange how a company working with all the right companies could have failed. Smells fishy.
