I came a crossed this post that's about a month old but implies they are preparing for production... This is a reply to someone who was asking for advice on a recovering a deposit on a bad plane deal..
"We are also setting up a production line in Canada for our new turbine agricultural aircraft and are soliciting overseas buyers for the aircraft - First off we ask for a Letter of Interest followed by a non-binding Letter of Intent and then when we have a firm price , delivery date and build number we ask for a Purchase Order - At no stage do we ask for any money until the aircraft is ready to be delivered - The Canadian Export Development Corp finance the purchase for the overseas buyer on excellent terms and guarantee payment to us
