My guess is ARM will take heart from that they even bothered to mention it in that context. Five years ago ARM were talking about first prototype ARMv8 servers in 2014 and the first commercial servers this year so if there has been a commercial server sold this year I'd count that as very good forecasting and planning compared to most multi-year plans I've come across :-) Actually they came up with some fixes in their ARMv8.1 architecture to support servers better and I don't think anyone has implemented that yet and overall I'd say they are a year behind their original estimate.
