I'm sure you're correct. Those who give birth to a company may be reluctant to relinquish any control. No one individual can be all things to all people. Although I remain confident in ultimate success, a time must come for the company to develop the structure of a mature company. For example what happens if the CEO falls under a bus (heaven forbid)?
I too wonder if this is holding things back. Inventors invent things, salesmen and women sell them. Someone must be able to close a deal as well as bait the hook.
