And Intel process is superior to TSMC and or Samsung.

Intel's process is "superior" for
1) the type of products that Intel produces
2) the way that Intel designs its products

For someone else making different types of products designed in
different ways Intel's process may be considered difficult to use,
expensive, over-kill and/or feature poor.

I am skeptical that Apple wants any part of the mass market for phones unless they can somehow maintain their margins. And maintaining their margins is a tall order when a big part of the mass market is the third world.
