#38497 RE: alanthill #38496

You should start that sentence with the qualification that it seems clear 'to you'. The wildcard in the kickoff of nozzle manufacturing in Alabama is FAA certification of the LEAP engine. To me, it is feasible that the FAA will require exactly the type of objective evidence for the nozzle that PR3D provides as a condition to the certification of the engine. Either way, until word comes down, I choose believe that PR3D will be incorporated into the manufacturing plan for the LEAP nozzles.

It seems clear that GE is going to start full scale production of the nozzles with minimal, if any, use of SGLB's technology.

Why does it seem clear to you that GE will not be using Sglb for the production run starting in 2016?
