#51160 RE: RV-8 Pilot #51155

RV You and I were in good company, we all got our greedy gooses cooked in 2015 but this years over. This is a major solar bear market and we all need to reallocate as we see fit along the way. I was always in this for the installation. That's actually what fist caught my eye and I thought the cell was bogus from day one, but the fact that management (just like us with reallocation) proved it could switch gears successfully speaks volumes. The cell is out there like a project with a tarp over it in the garage. I'm pretty sure it has merit, but also has something preventing it from instantly being successful. The bonus with the cell, is the idea of it. What it "could do" for this company. The vertical integration, the cost savings and reliability of having your own supply line, etc... So keep in mind, even if the cell under the blanket never makes it to the store shelf, there may be another "cell" that comes to fruition through other means. Maybe it's a cash strapped cell manufacturer...maybe it's other installation technology that creates some of the same benefits as the cell... you see what I mean? Even if "the cell" doesn't pan out, it's the fact that this company can do things akin to "the cell" now that it's a respected installer with a solid balance sheet and a profitable entity.

I flip flopped on my additional holdings here from time to time, but as the solar story matures, I'm seeing more and more how valuable this success story is and will continue to be.

Now that the visibility has increased this probably wasn't one we should have held so blindly but going forward we can certainly re-evaluate at each turn. The last turn caused me to really do a double-take. I expected net profit, but not to the degree to which Q4 should be a slam dunk pushing the company to an annual net profit.

Anyhow, good luck here and everywhere. This was a fun train to share with everyone on it. I'm going to continue ridding for a while. See where it takes us.
