#2851 RE: aringbearer #2849

Am I missing something? Bid price only applies to a sell as a lowest acceptable PPS. Sells, using limit trades which are all that's available for OTCBB as Buy limit or Stop limit the bid is not considered. All you are doing is assuring you will NOT buy the stock at the best ask and your small buys will wait until AFTER the dumper has taken his large sell at .01 and the ask may rise where you can buy more higher. AND the bid may follow higher as well after you do buy higher until up to 2 million trades. Just now the seller took your .01 for 159K and the ask is UP to .0129 and they get .0101 next rrade. Will cost you more next and they get more next. Seems worthless effort. Just select your own ask for the most you want. Devil take the hindmost! 8

That's all in part to prevent manipulation under strict SEC rules that have hit me time and time again even making no real sense at close when next open bid/ask may be entirely changed AND I've NEVER sold shares anyway. Whatever? We play the high road and let others take the low for eventual winnings. 8

How do I place an order for an OTCBB security?
If you are placing a trade on Over The Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) or pink sheet securities, you will need to enter your buy orders as limit orders or stop limit orders only. Sell orders on these securities may be entered as either limit, stop, stop limit, or market orders.

We do not allow market buy orders on these securities to protect against price fluctuation and inaccurate quote information that often accompanies these securities.
