Given the information you provided, if Nestle does buy this up it would be under a big corporate powerhouse. We live in a capitalist market now, I dont see what would change anytime soon.
Bottled water is always convenient and readily available. Even in emergency control situations people stockpile basic necessities like water. They taps can easily run dry on them at any moment and they need water available in cause natural disaster hits.
Bottled water would even go as far as being supplied in a first aid kid or medic-pack of that nature. Water is very valuable.
