Very nice post Robodog. Clearly you're an expert in avionics. You seem to dismiss the checklist a little bit.
Did Baltia fly its plane to Malaysia already, because that is on the checklist.
Do they have a contract with Evergreen at JFK, because that is also on the check list.
If the situation is slide related and the FAA has known this for years, wouldn't they pass Baltia sooner rather than later; because other airlines are flying with the same known issue; so they wouldn't be mad when FAA gives Baltia a Pass.
Something is holding up those proving flights that Baltia thought would begin immediately after recurrent training with three crews... it's the slides or something else.
Baltia did a comprehensive fix on the slides according to their update; so it's a mystery about the three month hold up on a decision or announcing the decision.
