It is not a for sure thing, as they still have to vote on it, but it is obvious that this measure is going to pass. (so r/s and dilution will not occur Monday in conjunction with the short-selling ban)
Yet, the timing sucks any way you put it. Investors are going to see this and be scared. If I shorted stocks I would be all over NBG come Monday, this seems to be an almost perfect storm of bad news...why didn't they release this on Wednesday or Thursday, so it didn't time up exactly with short ban??
Although, since we all seem to be confident that the stock is going down Monday, and it usually doesn't do what people think, maybe we will be green.
