My guess:

Pando threw in a market order for 200-300K shares, and the MM's had their way with him.

Pando seems to be a dunderhead.

Stock returning to a normalized level now. A lot of people made some nice money today, apparently at Pando's expense.

Agreed, nice recovery. There are investors that know a good deal when they see it. The rebound underscores appetite for the shares (and on good volume).
