HC your numbers are incorrect. The 3.8M monthly burn is part of the milestone costs. If you look at the annual salaries for JH, RR, DF, PH, SR, and guesstimate the salaries for the other employees and the office lease, you don't even get to "3 milly" for the whole year. They're pretty lean when it comes to overhead.

Assuming the first in human units are now paid for, then we need about 34M total to complete the final three milestones as stated in the last MD&A. If they decide to not build the additional four robots that they were thinking about building for the pivotal trial, then they can get to the 510(k) milestone for far less...maybe as low as 10-15M total.
