Having had posts removed is not necessarily a dis-qualifier in regards to becoming a moderator. Go ahead and apply to any board you might feel you can be helpful with.

From my understanding, it is better to apply for MOD position after 14 days when you post deleted and will be removed from your record. Your chance of become a MOD is easier. U don't want to wait for another 30 days to re-apply for it
