Was any tech company bought out before the proved their idea worked or made it a must have addition to a huge tech company's arsenal of applications? I don't think so.

Was what'sapp bought out while in development? Nope. Was Facebook bought out by anyone while Zuckerberg stole the idea from the Winklevoss twins? Nope!

Was Microsoft bought out by anyone while Bill Gates was writing the code for windows? Nope and so the list goes on.

The point is - when you need development capital and have no revenues, that leaves your options as to financing extremely limited.

When the code is proven to work and integrate with all manner of applications, people will come knocking down the door of the CEO to buy the patents.

People get disappointed when you're sensible and protect your intellectual property by filing a patent and getting it granted! That means they can't copy your idea without being taken to court!
