eMarketer reports that China's mobile landscape is 500 million and growing; advertisers, take note.

China will soon have more than 500 million mobile phone subscribers. eMarketer projects that there will be 635 million by 2010. The country's 1.3 billion people provide a fertile base for huge demand, and its robust electronics manufacturing sector is supplying handsets on a mammoth scale. The market for mobile service providers is pretty inaccessible, but advertisers and marketers trying to reach China's huge consumer base have a significant opportunity.
