I have never heard of that with the size being priority. If many trades come in, all offering the best price, the next priority is given to the trades that were received first, Saluzzi says.

Out of curiosity is there any way to know what Market Maker a trade goes though? I use E-trade but do not have level II so this is more of a question for future trading.
